About this spot
Cayo Guillermo, in the Jardines del Rey cays off Cuba's north coast, has a shallow, flat lagoon where the north-east to easterly trade wind blows side-onshore, strongest from about November to April.
A kite centre works with the resorts here, and the standing-depth water suits learning. Check the current rules on riding zones and equipment before you travel.

Needs local verification: Compiled in October 2026 from independent spot guides and hotel kite-centre descriptions. Kiting in Cuba has historically been tightly regulated, and rules on where you may ride and on bringing your own equipment change, so everything here needs confirming locally before you go; coordinates are approximate, not verified launch points. No verified live webcam was found, so the camera links open Windy's webcam search instead of a local feed.
Local hazards
