About this spot
Kitesurf Antigua, running for over 20 years on Jabberwock Beach, says the beach faces east into the prevailing trades so the wind is always onshore to side-on, blowing riders back towards the shore. The quarter-mile beach curves gently into a safe cove for learners, with bump-and-jump conditions further upwind.
The school's season is December through August while the trades blow; its instructors are IKO or BKSA certified, and it puts the path to independent riding at 9–15 hours. Another local water-sports operator calls Jabberwock the island's main drive-to spot and the gathering point for local riders, with a sandy bottom close to shore.
Onshore wind is forgiving but means rigging and launching need space — use the school's area and keep clear of other beach users.
