About this spot
SurfinGR's Kedros guide documents kite use with NW preferred (N/WNW/NW/NNW listed), a July–September season, and afternoon wind of 18–22 knots when the Meltemi is running and 14–18 knots without it. It describes chop and waves over pebbles with sand farther out, water that deepens gently rather than a standing-depth teaching flat, and states explicitly that this is not a beginner spot.
The same guide lists a sharp rock downwind at the water's edge, a difficult shorebreak in strong wind, swimmers, rocks and power lines over a narrow beach of roughly 400 by 12 m shared with others. No kite school is documented on Kedros, and the shore-relative angle of the usable wind is not published, so the launch line, the rock's exact position and any overhead-obstacle clearance must be confirmed on site.
