About this spot
Jeju Kite Lab, an IKO-certified school teaching in English and Korean, runs a guesthouse right at Sinyang Beach and says most of the island's best windy spots are on the east side. It offers one-on-one beginner lessons and a four-day course aimed at independent riding, wetsuit included.
A spot guide describes Sinyang as the flattest of Jeju's kite beaches at around a metre deep, with March–May and September–November the best seasons; summer is lighter and better for foiling. The school is mobile and moves to other east-side beaches depending on wind, so contact it before turning up.
No source we found states the usable wind sector here, so the directions shown are an estimate — confirm with the school. Sinyang Seopji is also a designated swimming beach from late June to early September (normally 10:00–19:00); expect restrictions then.
