About this spot

Kiteboard Fiji runs a purpose-built centre at Volivoli Beach on the Rakiraki Suncoast. The school describes flat water, shallow lagoons for learning and a sandbar reached by a short boat ride, with IKO instructors teaching from first lessons to unhooked tricks all year.

The south-east trades are most consistent from May to December and accelerate through the Bligh Strait north of the island; the school describes cross-shore wind. Long downwinders past small islands are possible with a boat.

The school's website is an older page — confirm it still operates before planning around it.
