About this spot

Wingsurf (WSG), operating with Salty Rides Water Sports beside the Dolce Athens Riviera hotel, recommends north-east, describes north as onshore, gives May to October at 4–7 Beaufort, and calls it a large shallow sandy bay suitable for learning with small waves and larger swell farther out. A Kiteforum report describes a separate small grass-and-sand launch by the former Club Med with a shallow lagoon of roughly 300 × 100 m, mostly flat, with trees at the launch and advice to land on the water.

The two accounts conflict: WSG calls the bay good for learning, while Kiteforum rates it intermediate/expert and describes the wind as extremely gusty and not recommended for kitesurfers, and reports an onshore-to-offshore change in the evening. Because of that contradiction no beginner claim is carried here, and the two descriptions may not even be the same rigging patch — the marker is Let's Kite's coarse bay coordinate, not a surveyed launch point.
