About this spot
Zemplínska šírava is one of Slovakia's largest reservoirs and, with Guláška, has the most experience reports on windsurf.sk. Its east–west orientation gives long fetch on westerlies.
Holiday resorts line the north shore, so summer launches must avoid bathing areas.

Kite Ride itself writes that Slovak lakes are poor for learning and runs its courses in Hungary — so no Slovak spot carries a beginner label.
