About this spot

Riders of the Storm lists Cape Peschany as a place for 'lessons and riding' alongside Soldatka. The Caspian here has many bays and spit-protected inlets, which is what makes the coast attractive.

No permanent school base is documented, so no beginner label — go with the camp.

3-day forecast

Needs local verification: Compiled in October 2026 from the Riders of the Storm school's Aktau camp page, Kiteforum and Kite Jungle spot cards, Spotkitesurf, the Astana Times report on Kapchagay and Citypass Kazakhstan's kitesurfing overview. Kazakhstan has no resident kite school listed by the international guides — the Aktau lessons are seasonal camps (May–September). Pins are approximate and wind windows outside Soldatka are my reading of the shoreline; check on site. The many steppe spots around Astana are snow- and landkite fields and are not listed here.
