About this spot

Glas Opova reported in December 2020 that while a 100 km/h Košava was disrupting traffic, kiters were riding the fish-pond lake at Sakule; Spotkitesurf and Let's Kite both list it as a Serbian kite spot.

Let's Kite rates it intermediate, with the Košava (south-east) as the dominant wind across the flat Pannonian plain and a February–May season peaking in March (about 20 rideable days).

Amenities

  • Village services in Sakule / Opovo

Needs local verification: Compiled in October 2026 from Let's Kite's Serbian spot guides, a Glas Opova local news report (Sakule, 2020), Kite Jungle and Spotkitesurf. A Belgrade kite club (Kiteloop Centre) is listed by CrazyFly, but no lesson location is published for these spots. Coordinates are the guides' approximate pins; exact launch, access, parking, fishing-pond rules and any river-traffic restrictions need on-site confirmation. The water table is a seasonal estimate for Pannonian lowland water.
