About this spot
Let's Kite describes Zemun as Belgrade's most accessible kite spot, on the Danube banks in the city's north-west, with flat-water conditions on the river and two working winds — the south-easterly Košava and the north-westerly.
The guide rates it intermediate because of the river current: a dropped kite drifts downstream, not back to the bank. Its wind record shows a February–May season peaking in April, with most rideable hours at 7–12 knots — big-kite territory.

Needs local verification: Compiled in October 2026 from Let's Kite's Serbian spot guides, a Glas Opova local news report (Sakule, 2020), Kite Jungle and Spotkitesurf. A Belgrade kite club (Kiteloop Centre) is listed by CrazyFly, but no lesson location is published for these spots. Coordinates are the guides' approximate pins; exact launch, access, parking, fishing-pond rules and any river-traffic restrictions need on-site confirmation. The water table is a seasonal estimate for Pannonian lowland water.
