About this spot
El Sargento sits at the northern end of the same bay as La Ventana and shares its winter El Norte season. Riders come here for space when La Ventana is busy, and the wind is often a touch stronger towards the north.
The water is choppy and deep close to shore, as in La Ventana, and there are fewer services on the beach. Whether a school teaches directly here was not confirmed, so the spot is marked for independent riders; arrange lessons and rescue through a La Ventana centre.

Amenities
- Small village with a few restaurants; more services in La Ventana
Needs local verification: Compiled in October 2026 from independent spot guides and the general descriptions of the La Ventana and Holbox schools. Launch pins, which school operates where, beach and reserve rules and fees change from season to season, so everything here needs confirming on site and the coordinates are approximate, not verified launch points. The beginner label for El Sargento and the Holbox launch rules were not confirmed from a primary source. No verified live webcam was found, so the camera links open Windy's webcam search instead of a local feed.
