About this spot
Rhodes municipality lists Kremasti as a kitesurfing location. The local Kite & Surf Rhodes guide calls it the main kite spot in northern Rhodes: a wide sand-and-pebble beach north of the airport, with a shallow strip of about 15 metres and smaller waves near shore. Open-sea swell develops farther out; this is not a standing-depth lagoon.
The guide reports sideshore summer wind, usually 11–27 knots, strengthening after noon through the combined Meltemi and thermal effect. It does not publish compass bearings, so this entry deliberately marks every direction as requiring local confirmation rather than declaring an inferred sector safe.
ProCenter confirms that its kite station is in Kremasti, separate from its Ialysos windsurf stations. Those neighbouring windsurf beaches are not duplicated here as separate kite launches.
