About this spot
Suuslodge calls this open stretch of shore near Balykchy 'The Graveyard' (Ulahol-2): no enclosed bay, but an extensive shoal. The Santash blows along-shore from the right and the Ulan along-shore from the left, so both winds are rideable.
It is usually a couple of knots windier than the neighbouring lagoon spots; Kite Jungle rates the spot for intermediate and expert riders, and the flat strip over the shoal suits foiling in the strong Ulan.
