About this spot

Suuslodge describes Ulahol-1, the western point of the South Lagoon: in the Santash easterly the wind crosses the shoal and the enclosed bay makes the spot suitable for beginners and intermediates.

In the Ulan, the strong westerly storm wind blows straight offshore here and can carry a rider out into deep water — when Ulan is forecast, stay on the lagoon side or wait.

The Fly.kg school bases its lessons on this stretch of the south shore.
